I write copy for a living in Nashville, mostly websites, emails, and ads for small companies and a couple of musicians, and I have taught copywriting to freelancers and business owners for four years. My rule is simple: every sentence should earn its place by moving the reader toward one action. I teach headlines, landing pages, emails, product descriptions, and how to sound like yourself instead of like an advert. Bring a page that is not working.
