I worked as a software engineer in Seattle for eight years before I started teaching, and I still believe the only way to learn to code is to write code, break it, and fix it. I teach absolute beginners and people switching careers. We start with JavaScript and Python, build tiny real things, and talk about how to read errors instead of fearing them. I am direct, friendly, and allergic to jargon. You will type more than you listen.
