I qualified as a chartered accountant in Leeds and spent twenty years in practice before I started teaching, first AAT and ACCA students and then small business owners who wanted to understand their own books. Accounting is logical once you see the pattern behind it, and my job is to show you the pattern: what double entry really means, how the statements fit together, and why the numbers say what they say.
